जम्मू-कश्मीर विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण में 7 जिलों की 24 सीटों पर हुए मतदान में 61.13 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ।

जम्मू और कश्मीर विधानसभा चुनावः केंद्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू और कश्मीर के छह जिलों में कुल 26 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण में बुधवार, 25 सितंबर को 239 उम्मीदवारों के भाग्य का फैसला करने के लिए मतदान हो रहा है। मतदान सुबह 7 बजे शुरू हुआ और शाम 6 बजे तक समाप्त होगा, जिसमें 2.5 मिलियन से अधिक मतदाता छह जिलों में मतदान करने के लिए तैयार हैं-कश्मीर घाटी में तीन और जम्मू डिवीजन में तीन। पांच साल पहले इसका विशेष दर्जा और राज्य का दर्जा समाप्त किए जाने के बाद से अशांत क्षेत्र में यह पहला विधानसभा चुनाव है।
