Actor Allu Arjun Appears Before Chikkadpally Police for Questioning in Pushpa 2 Stampede Case
Hyderabad, December 24, 2024: Actor Allu Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally Police Station around 11 a.m. on Tuesday for questioning in connection with the tragic stampede during the release of Pushpa 2 on December 4, which led to the death of a 35-year-old woman and left her eight-year-old son in critical condition.
To manage the large crowds and media presence, the police had set up a security cordon around the station to keep curious onlookers and reporters at bay. Allu Arjun had been served a notice for appearance on Monday (December 23, 2024), at 11:36 a.m., instructing him to report to the police station for questioning.
The notice, issued by B. Raju Naik, Inspector of Chikkadpally Police Station, stated: “The case is under investigation, and your presence is quite essential before the undersigned officer to elicit answers from you about the incident and, if necessary, for visiting the scene of the offense in order to ascertain the true facts.” The actor was summoned to appear at the station on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
In the ongoing investigation, Allu Arjun has been named as accused number 11 in the case.
It is worth noting that on December 13, 2024, the Chikkadpally police had arrested Allu Arjun in connection with the incident, and he spent a night in Chanchalguda Jail. He was granted bail and released on December 14.
The stampede occurred during the Pushpa 2 film’s release, causing chaos and resulting in the unfortunate loss of life and injuries. The police are continuing their investigation into the tragic incident.

It’s not Allu Arjun’s fault that he was there. I’m ready to withdraw my case. The police didn’t inform me of his arrest; I learned about it through the news while I was at the hospital. Allu Arjun had no involvement in the stampede.”
