The base model of the iPhone 16, which has 128GB of storage, starts at Rs. 79,900 in India. The price of the iPhone 16 Plus starts at Rs. 89,900. However, the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro with 256GB of storage and the iPhone 16 Pro Max in India are respectively Rs. 1,19,900 and Rs. 1,44,900.

When the phones go on sale on September 20, the price of the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is priced at $1,199.

A 16-core neural processing unit in Apple’s new A18 Pro CPU provides 35 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for Apple Intelligence features. Additionally, compared to the A17 Pro chip, it has 17% greater memory bandwidth. With two performance cores and four efficiency cores, the CPU is said to operate up to 15% quicker than the A17 Pro that underpins the Pro models from the previous year.
The iPhone 16 has a dedicated camera button and an A18 processor.
The iPhone 16 has a new touch-sensitive touch button for camera controls in addition to the Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro. The A18 processor, which powers the iPhone 15, is believed to be 30% more powerful and 30% faster in terms of CPU performance than the A16 Bionic chip, which powered the iPhone 15. It also uses 30% less power.
