iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max Pre-Bookings Go Live on Caviar: New Design, Cooling System, and Camera Layout Confirmed

In the midst of continuous leaks and speculations around Apple’s upcoming flagship, luxury smartphone customizer Caviar International has already begun pre-bookings for its exclusive versions of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, months ahead of the official Apple launch expected in September 2025.

On the masthead of Caviar’s official website, an advertisement now features a custom render of the iPhone 17 Pro, placed next to the custom iPhone 16 Pro. While unofficial, the render appears to confirm some of the biggest rumoured design changes, especially related to the camera system.

🔍 Design Hints and Camera Redesign

According to Caviar’s render, the iPhone 17 Pro series may come with a new rear camera layout, showcasing a relocated flash and LiDAR sensor. Unlike the iPhone 16 Pro Max, where these were close to the lenses, the LED flash and LiDAR sensor now appear on the right side of the camera module.

The camera lenses themselves look slightly smaller, and the render hints at a large rectangular camera hump, which has long been speculated by analysts. While Caviar’s design is not official, it often aligns closely with Apple’s final design.

🌡️ Vapour Cooling System Confirmed

One of the most notable internal upgrades in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max is the introduction of a vapour chamber (VC) cooling system. This marks a shift away from the graphite sheet cooling found in earlier iPhones. The VC system will play a critical role in managing the A19 Pro chip’s heat output, which is expected to deliver unprecedented performance levels.

This move brings Apple in line with high-end Android smartphones, which have used vapour cooling for years.

📸 Triple 48MP Camera Setup

The iPhone 17 Pro series is also rumoured to feature a triple 48MP camera system:

  • A 48MP main wide camera
  • A 48MP ultra-wide/macro lens
  • A 48MP telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom

This would place the iPhone 17 Pro series as one of the most powerful camera setups Apple has ever launched.

💰 Premium Price Tag

Being a luxury custom model, Caviar’s Golden Rose variant starts at a whopping $7,870 (approx. ₹6.5 lakh). Pricing for Apple’s official versions hasn’t been announced, but Indian buyers can expect at least ₹10,000 more than iPhone 16 Pro’s launch prices due to the upgrades.
