Ullu App Removes Ajaz Khan’s House Arrest After Backlash Over Explicit Content
Actor Ajaz Khan’s reality show House Arrest has been removed from the Ullu App following a growing controversy over its explicit and allegedly inappropriate content. A search for the show on the platform—often associated with adult-themed content—yielded no results as of Friday.
The removal comes after a viral video clip from the show sparked widespread outrage online. In the clip, Khan is seen pressuring female contestants to engage in intimate and uncomfortable acts on camera. His probing and vulgar questioning appeared to leave some participants visibly uneasy.
Taking suo motu cognisance of the matter, the National Commission for Women (NCW) on Friday summoned Ullu App CEO Vibhu Agarwal and Ajaz Khan, condemning the show’s content. House Arrest, which premiered on April 11, had been promoted as an unfiltered, uncensored alternative to mainstream captive reality shows like Bigg Boss and Lock Upp.
